These terms set out the rules for using omar-thing.site and its tools. Please read them carefully. By using the site, you agree to them.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Omar-Thing ("we", "us") covering your use of omar-thing.site, its tools, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

03The service

The Service provides free web tools for viewing publicly available TikTok information, such as profile details, statistics, stories, reposts, live streams, and public media. All data shown comes from publicly available sources.

Omar-Thing is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. TikTok and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the Service.

Our paid developer API at dev.omar-thing.site, including its plans and payments, is governed by the API Rules and the API Privacy Policy. If those documents conflict with these Terms on a matter related to the API, those documents apply.

04Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not use the Service to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harm any person, or to publish anyone's personal information without their permission (doxxing);
  • violate any person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights;
  • break any applicable law or regulation, or TikTok's terms and policies;
  • send automated or bulk requests, scrape the Service, or get around rate limits, bot checks, or other protections (use our developer API for automated access);
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, overload, or damage the Service or its servers;
  • upload or send malicious code, or interfere with other users' use of the Service; or
  • resell or commercially redistribute the Service or its output without our written permission.

You are responsible for how you use the Service and any information you obtain through it.

05Third-party content and downloads

Videos, images, stories, live streams, and other content shown or downloaded through the Service belong to their creators or other rights holders, not to us. Tools that let you view, save, or record content are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download, record, keep, or share any content. Do not use the Service to infringe copyright or to redistribute content without the owner's permission.

If you believe content accessed through the Service infringes your rights, please contact TikTok, where the content is hosted. You can also email us at [email protected] with the details and links, and we will review it. The same address can be used for trademark concerns.

06Accuracy of information

Information shown by the Service comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Some details, such as account region or dates, are estimates based on available data. Do not rely on the Service as the only basis for important decisions.

07Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and logos, excluding third-party content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Service in line with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

10Availability and changes

Because the Service depends on third-party platforms, features may stop working without warning. We are not liable for any change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may restrict or block your access to the Service, including by limiting requests from your network, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or created risk for us, other users, or third parties.

12Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any results will be accurate or complete.

13Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

14Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply where you live.

  • Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a provision, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a transfer of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
